screenshot of error dialog
I reproduced the bug. Apparently the code expects a wizard widow with steps in NtpClient::Write, but when called from the timezone module, there is none. It was because there was the little pop-up. I moved it around a bit and now it does not get in the way. yast2-ntp-client-2.16.8 submitted for Beta 3. |
Open YaST and choose System/ "Datum und Zeit" ("date and time"), choose "Ändern..." ("change...") for "Zeit und Datum", choose "Synchronisiere mit NTP-Server", tick "Save NTP configuration", choose "Übernehmen" ("OK"). A dialog pops up saying "Synchronizing with NTP server...", and after a while an error dialog pops up saying "UI syntax error", going to attach screenshot in a minute.
