set_time2
Other information: This is under VMware Server 1.0 Linux. Need to test in real life environment. I get the same problem under Beta 2. This happens both under VMware and rea life machine, both in Beta 1 and Beta 2. Submitted. I still get the same problem under 11.0 release version, using KDE 4.0.4-14. Should this bug be reopened? Reopening. Do not run KDE as root. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 401847 *** |
Created attachment 212103 [details] set_time1 Problem: Open Configure Desktop of KDE4 (you need to use root to continue the test). Select Date and Time function. Trying to change the time manually and clicking APPLY gives a "Cannot Set Date" error. The time is either not set in the TaskBar or it gets set either correctly or by doubling the number of hours you chose. The result (one of the previous 3 possibilities) is random. Frequency: Every time (one of the 3). Other information: See attached pngs.
