The template is at https://forgesvn1.novell.com/svn/opensuse-art/trunk/greeter/GNOME/ a preview can be seen at http://greeter.jimmac.net/ So, the current code uses Gtk.HTML and this doesn't support CSS nor javascript. I'll try to look at the Gecko stuff in mono... The easy way would be to use Gecko.WebControl, except that it won't work well since we have code to zoom out the Gtk.HTML view to avoid having scrollbars and I don't see any method to do this in Gecko.WebControl. Not quite sure what to do here. JP, what do you think? Since this looks like it would drain even more resounces, I'd like to point out this is a very unfriendly nag screen that I always hated in Windows 95(?). With my designer hat on, I recommend dropping this 'greeter'. We already have desktop launchers to the to the website/forum. I'm with Jakub here, fwiw -- I never understood why we had this dialog (removing the dialog means not shipping ggreeter -- there shouldn't be anything else to do). An alternative approach, if we really want to keep it, is to keep it the current way. Note that I'll be without internet access in ~7 hours for nearly a day. Created attachment 217858 [details]
