Description Rastislav Krupansky 2008-05-07 10:28:15 UTC
I´m not sure whether this belongs to KDE maintainers.
I added user to group wheel and i uncommented the line in /etc/sudoers:

# Same thing without a password
%wheel	ALL = (ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL

System still requires root´s password (run as root) in KDE4 (for example YaST, Install software, start root mode krusader ...), but it works in KDE3 without any fault.
Wouldn´t it work the same way as in KDE3?

KDE folks: Does kde4-kdesu use su or sudo?
Comment 2 Dirk Mueller 2008-05-07 11:41:50 UTC
we just recently switched back from sudo to su. so this is cantfix. we will add policykit support for the future.
