Description Nikolay Borisov 2008-05-08 15:17:57 UTC
Yast2 crashes when tyring to add an invalid LDAP database. Yast2 shows error message but then the "ok" button becomes inactive, and openldap configuration windows becomes unresponsive. Attaching a screenshot + y2logs

I am not able to reproduce the problem. I get the warning message correctly and after clicking "Ok" the YaST Module ends it self correctly. Are you able to reproduce the problem more often? Or did this happen only once?

Aside from that, I admit that the error handling could be improved, though :).

I tried it now and I can't reproduce the error. I guess it's been something temporarily.
Comment 5 Ralf Haferkamp 2008-05-13 09:33:58 UTC
Ok, I submitted a package with a small improvement to the error handling. YaST will not try to start the Server now, when the database creation failed.
