Description Rune Larsen 2008-05-11 19:59:53 UTC
This is a regresssion of: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=293792

There are problems during partitioning as well as in Bootloader installation.

Problems in parted can be partially worked around by linking the old names under /dev/mapper/ to the new ones:

dmraid -a y
ln /dev/mapper/<X>-<part>Y /dev/mapper/<X>_<part>Y

Neither LILO og GRUB could be installed, and no workaround found. Installation of beta2 fails on raid-devices.

Via "fakeRaid" on Asus A8V Deluxe.
5 partitions on fakeraid.
I Installed 10.3 by manually correcting the generated errors in grub setup files during install. The option to change config files manuelly seems to have disappeared in 11.0 beta2 install.
