Description Juergen Weigert 2008-05-15 12:46:52 UTC
default installation comes up with enabled firewall.
I selected local passwd during installation.
later I logged in and used yast to configure nis client.
(*) use NIS,
(*) automatic setup (via DHCP)
[x] start automounter.

Nis had no chance to work, as the firewall is active, and the expert settings
default to not open ports.
Please either
- change the default to open ports, as soon as (*)use nis is selected
'use nis' should be renamed to 'use nis and open firewall port' then...
- or make [ ] open port in firewall appear outside the expert settings menue.

It is not good that only experts can effectivly 'use nis', although the beginners dialog suggests otherwise.
