Description Keith Waugh 2008-05-16 03:36:09 UTC
when I allow Yast to update the kernel. The error after rebooting is:

"root (hd0,5)
Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type is 0x83
kernel /boot/vmlinuz root-/de/disk/by-id/scsi-SATA_ST340016A_3H54MQJD-part6 resume=/dev/sda5 splash=silent vga=0x31a
[Linux-bz-image, setup=0x3000, size 0x204740]
initrd /boot/initrd
Error 15 file not found
Press any key to continue"
Comment 1 Keith Waugh 2008-05-16 03:40:47 UTC
This has occured several times recently with some different installations - but on the same computer. It seems that the install process does not complete successfully as initrd or the kernel itself is either not named correctly or is not to found where it is expected.
