During install, if you select "software" at the "Installation Settings" screen, the "software selection and system tasks" page doesn't show any patterns or software to choose from. 

If you then go into "Details" the patterns screen has nothing listed on it, and then "package group" section has some very strange lines on it. 

This could be bug 372908 but that said it was closed weeks ago.
