The changes side pane in its current state is useless, because it has fixed size and truncates the package name, so one ends up without a clue what is actually going to be installed. Please, please, please fix this.

I think it's clear enough. If you want to be sure of some package, you can get the mouse hover them and check the tooltip...

That is a very tedious process, and all it shows is the package summary, not the package name.

Also, under a lower resolution or a larger font, all I saw was many rows of "install...", which is certainly not clear enough.  I'll attach a screenshot with my application font set to 18 instead of 10 (think old people, or anyone with vision impairment).

The Changes box needs to be resizable, IMHO.

Don't think this would be the perfect fix you have in mind, but will have to do for the time being: set the width based on your font size. Set for roughly 20 characters...
