Description Daniele Tombolini 2008-05-20 00:38:06 UTC
Hi, icons in systray are mixed togheter.
Attached shoot shows updater icon over mixer and mixer over knetworkmanager...

shoot showing mixed icons
Comment 2 Stephan Binner 2008-05-20 09:26:34 UTC
Does this happen reproducible at every login?
Comment 3 Daniele Tombolini 2008-05-20 16:32:40 UTC
Some try:
1) first login, only kmix icon is mixed with knetworkmanager
2) logout/login, icons are not mixed but a grey square background under updater and kmix.
3) logout/login again, like 1

It seems a sort of redraw issue..
Beta3 installed from kde-livecd

Comment 5 Stephan Binner 2008-05-20 17:55:18 UTC
Systray icons PLUS desktop effects are a call for Lubos :-)...
Comment 6 Daniele Tombolini 2008-06-02 19:34:14 UTC
With default theme systray looks good! Maybe an issue with aya theme ?!?
Comment 7 Bartosz Kiełczewski 2008-06-22 18:53:43 UTC
I can confirm this on 11.0 GM, KDE4. Happens every time when desktop effects are enabled (via compiz or kwin4) and user starts/closes application with system tray icon.

It happens with default theme here as well.
Comment 9 Dean Landry 2008-07-07 14:11:31 UTC
On OpenSuse 11 Final, I see this in all themes (default, aya, and one I downloaded). If I turn off desktop effects, things seem to display properly. The bug occurs when an icon is removed from the system tray.

This is not a opensuse specific bug and already reported where it belongs, i.e. KDE. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=158094
