Description Brian Merrell 2008-05-20 15:37:47 UTC
When booting into runlevel 3, the main console (tty0 or ALT+F1) has a polka-dot-like background that is very distracting. The dots are set behind the text but their colors are light enough that it is very distracting and might even be considered an accessibility issue (this is just a guess). Regardless, it is way more intrusive than backgrounds in the past and I think it should be reconsidered--at least for future releases. I know, I know, if I don't like it I can just change to a virtual terminal, but there is a lot of information that is read on that console and just because we can put polka-dots on the console background doesn't mean we should ;)

Made the patterns more subtle. Steffen, can you please package this again?
