the long list of zeros is from the "intr" line:

cat /proc/stat | grep intr | wc

I think this is only "Normal" problem.
Comment 2 Pavel Nemec 2008-07-28 11:00:01 UTC
Applying new bug handling policy.
Comment 4 Vladimir Nadvornik 2009-02-26 12:45:02 UTC
Currently we have no resources to fix this. I suggest dropping the package completely.

pitty that it took 9 months just for _this_ answer:(

I don't use procmeter3 myself but anyway, here are the diffs for 11.1 src.rpm (attached) which works for me [tm] and only shows this message

ProcMeter(stat-disk.c): Unexpected 'disk' line in '/proc/stat'.
	    expected: 'disk ...' or 'disk_io ...'

as there is no "disk" entry in /proc/stat anymore (that's already gone for a long time), so I'd just remove stat-disk.c ?!

maybe this helps maintaining procmeter3 (just in case some users still might want to keep their beloved tools -- the baby duck principle....)

Sorry, but this is the kind of application where the maintainer should be also active user, otherwise it takes a long time to spot and/or fix bugs, like in this case. We have currently no such person in the team, so I still think that
dropping it is the best long term fix. Alternatively it can be submitted to the Contrib repository if anybody from the community volunteers to maintain it.

no resources, no volunteers...close bug
