Description Brandon Philips 2008-05-30 21:15:15 UTC
The prompt reads enter 'Live-System' and press <return>

If a user types Live-System and presses return an error appears. The instructions for noacpi and failsafe are unclear also.

you should never see this text based welcome message. For some reason
the iso did not run with the graphical isolinux boot screen.
Unfortunately I'm not the creator of this image.

Maybe something has changed from Beta to RC ? Coolo could you check your
build ? I will test with my test image with the sync of today too.

Thanks

no, nothing changed. And it's a bit hard to verify without knowing what medium that is.
Comment 3 Brandon Philips 2008-06-02 16:04:31 UTC
Medium: OpenSuSE 11.0 GNOME LiveCD

It seems to be the same as #231104, however that bug is resolved despite Tejun commenting about a month ago that it is still broken.
Comment 4 Brandon Philips 2008-06-02 16:15:02 UTC
It might be worth changing the text to read: "You have encountered a bug. Please report at bugzilla.novell.com with the details of your hardware configuration"

If it is never supposed to happen it would be nice to give the user notification that something unexpected occurred.

Oops, remove NEEDINFO.
