Description Richard Swift 2008-06-02 18:24:40 UTC
Regarding my bug found earlier (bug 396366), i have tested my Belkin bluetooth keyboard and my Microsoft "Keyboard elite for bluetooth" and both have the same result... NO INPUT!!, they both pair and i can enter the passkey successfully but there is no input and the devices keep disconnecting (they won't stay connected for more than 5 seconds)

i am going to try my (old) workaround of pairing the device in windows, and using a passkey (not using a passkey will let the device be paired in both O.Ses without needing to re-pair every change).

In Beta 4 I am able to pair my Microsoft keyboard elite for bluetooth as well as its mouse and use both of them just fine. I think this defect can be closed as fixed in Beta 4.

Ok, so we are good in 11.1 it appears, we can't backport bluez 4.x there though.

Seife, any other thoughts? I think we just have to close this as fixed for 11.1.

Maybe a chance removing the keyboard from the device list will help before connecting again.

Agreed. There is not much we can do for 11.0, but it will work very well in 11.1
