patch to fix the problem

Description Felipe Alvarez 2008-06-05 01:20:39 UTC
Hardware is HP / Compaq nx7400 (ipw3945 and BCM4401-B0 10/100 LAN [module 'b44'])

Reproducible always:
. Go to yast
. network services
. hostnames
. 127.0.0.1
. edit

Screenshots attached. Hope this isn't happening to anybody else. Hope it is just my hardware or my own flaw. Wouldn't look good releasing with this.

patch to fix the problem

Patch to fix reported problem + fixed writing correct values
Comment 10 Stephan Kulow 2008-06-05 12:05:03 UTC
Stano, for me the change looks pretty intrusive. Please evaluate - to me it sounds like something is crashing, no-one tested before. So I would rather not push it
Comment 11 Stanislav Visnovsky 2008-06-05 12:41:17 UTC
Well, according to Michal, bug does not influence installation. So it can wait.
Comment 12 Michal Zugec 2008-06-05 12:47:14 UTC
fixed in yast2-network-2.16.49 (for 11.1)
