Description Andrew Wafaa 2008-06-13 11:04:40 UTC
The following empty files are created in ~/Documents by gnome-main-menu:
New Document.odt New Document.ott New Spreadsheet.ods New Spreadsheet.ots

Please stop! :) They are very annoying, and as far as i can tell they are absolutely useless, I have never used them once. They have been created for a long time, and I'm finally fed up of them.

They clutter up Nautilus with pointless icons and also confuse things by giving the impression that there are more files than there *really* are.

They are for the main menu document templates in the Documents section.
