When I try zypper dup, zypper suggest me an installation of package ntp-doc, so I install it. But then I try zypper dup again zypper still offering me a installation of "new" package ntp-doc. But ntp-doc is already installed. (And version and release is the same)

Everything is ok with zypper up.

Schubi, Michael, something for you. Zypper does not do anything special in 'dup' apart from doUpgrade().

ResolverUpgrade.cc(doUpgrade):685 U__s_(9482)ntp-doc-4.2.4p4-43.i586(http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/SL-OSS-factory/inst-source/) obsoletes I__s_(1461)xntp-doc-4.2.4p3-25.i586(@System) but does not provide it. --> replace it

doUpgrade chooses it even if ntp_doc is already installed? Sounds like a bug to me.

And I doubt that it really obsoletes xntp-doc-4.2.4p3, so you've got two bugs to fix...
