In feature 302863 you can see that it was closed after it was done for Kerberos and NTP, but not for LDAP. For LDAP, we agreed on the fact that having the option for doing SLP search for real LDAP server is better than such guessing. Also there exists some other feature for discovering the servers via DNS so I think this would be a preferred solution and guessing won't be needed -> invalid.
