Description Michal Svec 2008-06-18 16:42:26 UTC
On brand new 11.0 installation knetworkmanager does not report any available
wireless network, despite they could be easily listed with iwlist scan.

[BTW the UI is far from optimal, it does not offer any Refresh button
in the list and also the way(s) how to add a custom wireless network are far
from obvious]

The notebook I'm using is Dell Latitude D630:
Device: pci 0x4229 "PRO/Wireless 4965 AG or AGN Network Connection"

And BTW nm-tool seems to know the networks just fine.

Most likely duplicate of #397589.

Nevertheless if you are referring to the context menu, this is intended, it will only show known networks. Connecting to a new network should show a list of all available wireless networks, but that's fixed already.
