Description Steven Harms 2008-06-19 17:05:23 UTC
When remote desktop access is configured, the firewall port (5900 but it can be adjusted in the same dialog) is not opened. The user is also not alerted that they need to open this port.
Comment 1 Federico Mena Quintero 2008-06-24 03:06:18 UTC
There are some plans to have a way for applications which require open ports to request them from the firewall software. However, this will happen in the future; it can't be easily fixed right now. I'll keep this open as an enhancement.

The version with which you requested the enhancement is now obsolete. I'll close this as NORESPONSE. If you can still need this functionality in current 11.4, please enter your request with openFATE. Thanks!
