I installed openSUSE 11 32bit system (KDE4.0.4+kmail 1.9.51+akregator 1.2.50+kontact 1.2)and finish all the patches using zypper ref and zypper up. 

When I start kontact, it loads all the available components. However when I click the "new message" in kmail under kontact, the new message window can not load my customized composer template(settings-config kmail-composer-standard template) correctly. It still use the default template. However the reply, reply all and forward do load my template well.

When I minimized kontact to system tray, it shows akregator and kmail icons but I can not click akregator icon to active the kontact, only kmail icon works.

As far as I know, for new message templates, you can only use messages created in the composer then saved as template using the File menu.  I don't know how to use the templates defined in the config dialog.  Am asking upstream for more information.
