Description Michael Meeks 2008-06-25 14:03:36 UTC
The file-selector doesn't show a live view of a directory - use it to try to save a file in gedit; leave it open, do a mkdir on the console in the directory it is viewing: the view does not update (interestingly).

Yes I know I should use that "create folder" button or something but ... ;-)

Feature or bug ?

Bug. Another file monitoring issue with Gio :(

(You *are* using the Gio backend, correct?)

not sure how to tell - but pmap shows me:

/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/filesystems/libgio.so

when I launch gedit; and I didn't try to do anything clever ;-)

Working for me in factory, so I'll just assume it's fixed ;-)
