Known issue. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 290219 *** Hold on! Maybe with 11.0 it is different. Pavel, please have a look at bug 378917. Maybe echoing 0 into /proc/acpi/video/*/DOS also helps. echo 1 into DOS indeed helps. (In reply to comment #3 from Pavel Machek) > echo 1 into DOS indeed helps. Yes, but watch out for lid button events afterwards: they become very erratic and the lid state is no longer updated, so something is still wrong somewhere. Might be possible as workaround. Is there a subvendor/subdevice ID combination for the graphics chip ("hwinfo --gfxcard")?
