Maybe duplicate of #404117. The first connect and disconnect works. The next connect also works, but you cannot disconnect with knm. The only way to close the connection is to disable knm. Restarting knm allows you to connect to the modem but disconnects will fail. Clark, could you please try if the packages from [1] (I've build the packages for another bug but it contains some fixes regarding device deactivation) fix this issue for you?
