Workaround see http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=165502#c26 Yes, I'm ablte to confirm this workaround Not everyone is capable to do this workaround. Will be an update released? which versions are actually affected? newer kopete versions fetch the icq build number from the web, so no online update is required. I'm able to connect just fine today. looks like this only affects 10.2 or older (In reply to comment #6 from Dirk Mueller) > looks like this only affects 10.2 or older > No, I use 10.3. I reported it for this version. Does it work now without the workaround? The build number file on kopete.kde.org was missing yesterday when it was actually needed. Related to bug 405632 I removed the workaround and it is working again on 10.3. Strange yep, not strange, as expected then :) I don't see any demand for a 10.2 fix but SLED will need an update I'm having a 10.2 running. Anja, can I have a swampid for this please? Update for SLED SP1/2: SWAMP MaintenanceTracker-19851 submitted for SLED, 10.2 to follow on different swampid. submitted. reopen for patch tracking purposes Ok,submitted. released |
