Description Giorgos Linos 2008-07-02 12:11:49 UTC
When trying to upgrade package through yast, yast gives dependancy warnings while it shouldnt. In more detail Yast fails to recognize that libs already installed which are newer version than the ones required from the package to be installed are not dependancy issues and so there should be no warnings from broken dependancies.
Example lets say i have an application X1.0 which uses lib v1.23 and want to upgrade to X1.2 which needs lib v1.23 as well.If the lib i have is version v1.3(or even v1.23) yast will stop and give a broken dependancy which is wrong.Ofc if u just ignore this all applications work perfect.Have eperienced that with more than one upgrades
