Description Stefan Behlert 2008-07-13 19:30:33 UTC
Install openSUSE 11.0 with KDE3, KDE4 and GNOME.
Use default installation process.

The pen and eraser are not set correctly/activated. You can verify this in the following way:
 - start sax2
 - Select 'Tablet':
See that 'Activate This Tablet' is not set.

1) It's nowhere documented that this should work. If you take a look at the documentation about TabletPCs: it's clearly documented that you have to activate this manually --> INVALID/NOTABUG

2) see fate #302888
Comment 4 Stefan Behlert 2008-07-14 09:15:27 UTC
EVERYTHING should work out of the box if possible. Especially if you get loans from vendors to achieve exactly that. It's sad to see that this is not the case for that machine.
Comment 5 Danny Al-Gaaf 2008-07-14 09:55:11 UTC
Since we have already a fate request for this and since it's documented (in 10.3, 11.0 ...) how to install and config a tablet PC I don't see what's the problem here.
