which tool are you using to update? The auto-update tool that is standard with the OS. I start getting the messages right after the installation. Frank The tool name is : PackageKit Update Applet 0.2.1 This bug was moved to "resolved" with no resolution. Reopened the bug. Frank This error would indicate that PolicyKit is not available. Is the package PolicyKit-gnome installed? rpm -q PolicyKit-gnome rpm -q PolicyKit-gnome gives PolicyKit-gnome-0.8-4.1 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 397805 *** |
