Description Markus Elfring 2008-07-23 14:17:59 UTC
Dirk Müller announced on a mailing list yesterday that a few installation sources will be merged. I have entered the changed path for the KDE4 software in the corresponding YaST configuration dialogue. I clicked on the OK button and the affected repository meta data was reloaded.
A different list entry was selected after the GUI update was complete. I would expect that the focus should stay on the line before my input.

Yes, I have reproduced that. Yast doesn't select the correct repository. The problem might be in fact that the repository is internally removed and a new repository is added.

Thanks for your acknowledgement.

I got also the impression that there might be more wrong with the GUI update for this list control. A short flashing might be noticeable.

I wonder why it seems to be so hard to provide reliable and data-driven list controls.

Fixed in yast2-packager-2.18.7 (openSUSE 11.2).
