May be related to bug#405546 Well to test if it's a file system problem, have you run fsck on it yet? Otherwise, if you're experiencing crashes otherwise, it's probably unrelated to the update process itself. Your best bet is to download the kernel update manually (or just reinstall the old one and redo the update) on the old partition. Next reboot into this partition did another fsck. Thereafter it happily boots into 2.6.25.11 no unspecific crashes. The requested information has not been provided for more than 4 weeks. The bug gets therefore closed as NORESPONSE. Please reopen the bug if the bug still exists in the current beta3 and you can supply the requested information. |
