Description Thomas Renninger 2008-08-06 13:16:24 UTC
During second stage of installation these packages are tried to install:
bridge-utils
tunctl
wpa_supplicant

This does not work, because the network could not be set up and the whole installation is blown up.

That the network does not work might be related to bug #415034.
So this bug might be invalid if above packages are really needed.
But given the fact that this is a server machine, I wonder what for wpa_supplicant is needed.

I'm sorry, but there's nothing about those packages in log file. This log tarball is from autoyast installation, is that correct? (really that tarball you want attach)?

Thomas, please clarify.
Comment 4 Thomas Renninger 2008-09-26 11:51:45 UTC
Sorry, the real culprit probably is that the network is/was not set up.
There was another bug for that.
