Description Frank Helbo Christensen 2008-08-06 21:05:06 UTC
When trying to browse devices by clicking the the bluetooth icon in the tray with gnome, the bluetooth icon disapears.

Also when trying to pair bluetooth devices, and it prompts for the pincode/pass, the windows disapears before you have a change to click on it.

Problem seen with bluez-gnome-0.26-1.52

Also unable to add bluetooth mouse.

In fact no bluetooth is working at all!

Can the yast team comment on what might be missing or what to try to check errors?
Comment 2 Martin Vidner 2008-08-15 09:31:21 UTC
Since 11.0, YaST does not have a bluetooth module. Anyway, Lada?
Comment 3 Ladislav Slezák 2008-08-15 10:32:33 UTC
Bluetooth is now configured by the desktop applets.

Yast support has been dropped because it would duplicate the functionality and we would need to rewrite the module after a big change in the bluetooth stack.

Reassigning to gnome-maintainers...

Frank, try:

killall bluetooth-applet
bluetooth-applet

on the command line and try and repeat the disappearance.

No answer, and it works fine in 11.3 and 11.4 => closing.
