Description Banane Bieger 2008-08-07 15:12:57 UTC
Changed from ifup to networkmanager in yast. Then i configured everything for a static ip adress. After klicking finish button yast went through that task list. And when reaching the last item it tries to start the package management. Not very useful because the internet connection is not active in this moment.

After klicking the "can't connect to repo x" dialogs away there is still no internet available. I figgured out that the resolve.conf file is empty even though i entered a nameserver in yast.
After entering a nameserver in the resolve.conf file everything worked... untill next reboot. The resolve.conf was empty again. Removing all write attributes from resolve.conf worked for me.
