These are the yast logs right up until the end of stage 1.
FYI, I've just now tried the same, but with ext3 - with pretty much the same results: my old lilo is still installed, the system boots up but cannot mount the root filesystem, as it doesn't have fsck.ext3. (presumably because it is still reading from my old /boot). Yes, it is already fixed problem in alpha1, where instead of rewrite mbr is rewrite first partition. If problem still occur please reopen. Thanks for report. |
