Description Rastislav Krupansky 2008-08-27 19:58:23 UTC
Although networkmanager isn´t running and i quit it in systray, after
log out/restart icon of networkmanager appears again in systray. Is it feature or
bug? If it would be feature, my question is, why should icon be launched in
systray, if i don´t use networkmanager?
I think, if i don't want to use networkmanager, icon wouldn't be launched in systray.
I´m on Alpha2 and KDE 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.0 (4.1 >= 20080722)) "release 17".

You can control the autostart behavior or knetworkmanager by editing ~/.kde/share/config/knetworkmanagerrc and setting

[General]
Autostart=false

Dunno why the graphical way to control that was removed in current version.
