The requested changes here are to revert some things back to what was available back in 10.x until a late update (about the release time of 11.0) in 10.3. I've even tried using samba to share the printer, and it still corrupts things with some Windows print files. And then instead of just being able to recover by testing the connection to the Lantronics, I have to deleted the printer and rebuild it. Why is putting the connection test back in so difficult? The process is there during set and just needs a place to call it up from the completed setup without deletion and re-setup. lpr/lpd setup is fixed in yast2-printer-2.17.45 (lookup, access test) |
