Description Peter Bowen 2008-09-02 00:53:25 UTC
zypper gets confused about the installation status of product (and possibly patterns)

For example, I would expect 'zypper in --no-recommends -t product openSUSE-FTP' to offer to install any packages that are required by the openSUSE-FTP product and any packages required by any patterns required by the openSUSE-FTP product. However, it simply says that openSUSE-FTP is already installed.

Similar situations happen with patterns and without the --no-recommends flags.

If it is really installed, then this is OK :O) But there were changes to the installed product handling, so you were probably hit by this. This is fixed by now.
