Would be helpful if you could provide some sort of stacktrace (http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs:mozilla)
My guess for now is that it's a gtk issue.
Comment 3 Dave Plater 2008-09-27 12:17:38 UTC
I don't know if this is related but my SUSE/2.9.95-25.1 Firefox/3.0b5 browser crashes if I scroll down past the submit button in bugzilla if I am logged in.
Running from console gives the following:-
/usr/lib/firefox/firefox: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol: cairo_format_stride_for_width
I have had problems with the correct files being pulled in on upgrade to latest factory, I am going to check for wrong package versions and will report back.
Comment 4 Dave Plater 2008-09-27 12:27:00 UTC
Don't know if this will fix the reporters problem but I was left with cairo-1.4.14-32.1 installed. I upgraded to factory cairo-1.7.4-1.10 and my problem is solved.
Comment 5 Dave Plater 2008-09-27 12:30:37 UTC
I think the reporter forgot to add himself to the cc list.
Comment 6 Robby Verberne 2008-10-08 08:31:06 UTC
No no, sorry for the late response...
I had that trouble too, same as now with the upgrade to the beta versions...
You might be right, i cannot check anymore:( too many things broke..
I am downloading the beta2 version dvd and will start new, with new users.
Than i will be able too find out what is left of some 'strange' behaviour, or bugs.
Thanks for the commitment... ;)
