Description Michael Monreal 2008-09-22 22:24:40 UTC
Yast in beta1 has a "Support registration" entry under "other". IMHO this should be moved to "Miscellaneous", which already has a lot of similar entries.

Daniel, I assume you are the one who knows where this can be fixed. I assume it needs fixing in the actual package.

No, it should go to a new group called "Support" that I created as well in YaST. It seems that it is missing in the Gnome Control Center. The Support group contains all support related modules like: Support Registration, Support Query, Release Notes, Smolt.
Maybe the group did not make it into beta1 but it definitely is in beta2.

Gnome Maintainers, please have a look.

Scott, I presume we still aren't using any standards here in yast to define categories?

FYI, in SLED11 beta 4 not only is Support Registration still within "Other" n YaST but there's now also "Novell Customer Center Configuration" (like in SLED10) within "Other" and that applet is actually the same thing as "Support Registration".

Given this was a SLED bug not a openSUSE bug and I can't move it to SLED11 i'm going to close this as wontfix
