Description Γριφεγ Γγ 2008-09-30 21:18:27 UTC
In Zypper shell:

zypper> se *gucha*

S | Name | Summary | Ty
--+-----------------+--------------------------------------------------------+---
  | gucharmap | A Feature-Rich Unicode Character Map | sr
  | gucharmap-devel | Include Files and Libraries mandatory for Development. | pa
  | gucharmap-lang | Languages for package gucharmap | pa
zypper> in gucharmap
'gucharmap' is already installed.
Nothing to do.

The output of search is confusing at least...

Okay looks like zypper gets confused with src package.
Comment 2 Jan Kupec 2008-10-03 08:44:48 UTC
I believe this has been fixed since zypper 0.12.1. Please check with newer zypper once you upgrade.
