Description Thomas Nielsen 2008-10-16 15:01:28 UTC
Start install of OpenSUSE 11.1 beta 2 on PS3, with freshly partitioned and formatted disk.
I go more or less default (though setting screen size to 720p at boot time) accepting partitions.
Then I do NOT enter a user, but continues, and enter root password - then I see a brief window of loading something like "cracklib" and then nothing more happens. Mouse still moves, but I can do nothing. Need to power off and restart.

I will make an effort this evening :-)
Thanks for picking up!
Comment 3 Thomas Nielsen 2008-10-17 12:29:39 UTC
apparently i am too stupid to get the yast logs off the machine while installing - I have neither ftp or USB to throw the files at, but I took a photo of the ctrl+alt+F1 console :-) with flash! so it is hardly readable, but indeed it tries to find cracklib and the console says no such file or directory. Think I will wrtite down the msg properly tonight.
