Boot_log

I have installed Opensuse 11.0 x86_64 on Samsung R510.
It boot normally only if acpi=off.
My configuration is :

Intel Core 2 Duo P7350
Chipset Intel PM45 + ICH9M
Ram 4Gb
Sk Video nVIDIA GeForce Go 9200M GS
Hd 320 GB (5400 rpm S-ATA)

Without acpi=off, the boot sequence rerun from the Bios
welcome screen continuously.

1. from the log it looks like failure to load acpid is the reason whole system goes to shutdown. Are you able to boot into "init=/bin/bash" or "single" with acpi=on?
2. please provide acpidump output. You should be able to get it even from acpi=off run.

Sorry for not responding that long. Bug got re-assigned now.
Please re-try with openSUSE 11.3.
Chances are high that the issue got fixed meanwhile.
If not, please reopen the bug.
Closing won't fix for 11.0.
