At the very least this impacts Mono and Mono:Community. When refreshing our users get the following.

This is caused by the Recommends tags, yast of 10.3 fails when seeing this.
There is a bugreport open to fix this in yast for 10.3, but I think it can get fixed faster by not adding them in the mono project.

Comment 2 Aaron Bockover 2008-11-21 04:31:39 UTC
So remove Banshee from Mono:Community, it should not be there anyway. There are two supported ways to get Banshee on openSUSE: shipped in the distro or from the upstream Banshee project in OBS :)
Comment 3 Andrew Jorgensen 2008-12-05 16:52:08 UTC
I've removed Recommends in the Mono repo for anything older than 11.0 and verified that the repo metadata no longer contains any recommends for the packages. The problem still exists.
Comment 4 Andrew Jorgensen 2009-02-19 20:45:15 UTC
This problem was not caused by the Recommends tags, it's cause by OBS not creating valid patterns.xml.
