I know... very much countries have restriction with the codec mp3 use.
   So... Ask for the user which country he live, and if this country don´t have restrictions, install the mp3 support.

I wonder when the new installation work flow (as result of splitting off non-redistributable packages from media) will be introduced.

mp3 is not on the DVD, so there is little point in asking.
