In openSUSE 11.0 installer shows progression during configuration like on this screenshot : http://files.opensuse.org/opensuse/en/3/35/Opensusedvd-install15.png
You have a point, an arrow or a check before : "Welcome", "System Analysis", etc...

But I tested openSUSE 11.1 beta 3 and the installer shows always the "point" before "Welcome", "System Analysis", etc... even if the step is completed.
