kupdateapplet uses PackageKit to connect to the package management. As PackageKit doesn't support 'package locks' the user needs to set them with YaST by using 'yast sw_single' and clicking 'Package > Taboo'. |
The feature list contains Ability to Ignore Updates (Feature No: 120118) This is not possible with kupdateapplet - there's no checkbox etc. to ignore an update. The only thing I can do is deselect an update _for the next install run_ - but kupdateapplet shows it again after a restart (maybe even after a refresh, I didn't test that).
