Description Harald Koenig 2008-11-10 13:27:18 UTC
Lenovo T61P with i4965AGN, new installation of 11.1b4 from DVD:

after installation, only ethernet (e1000e) was configured, wireless was not.
wlan did not show up in yast network device setup, I had to add it manually.

I'm not sure if I checked the network setup stuff before the 1st complete reboot (see #443200 for some other mystery which showed up only before full reboot after installation)...

Please provide the YaST log files.

Are you running NetworkManager or traditional ifup scripts?

default installation, so traditional ifup (which is what I'd have chosen anyway;)
