Issue still present on RC1-KDE4-i686 LiveCD it is a typo in LiveCD config for russian locale, SCREENMAP should be "trivial", UNICODEMAP should be empty, see bnc #438964 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 438964 *** |
Created attachment 252117 [details] rckbd messages log I've boot KDE4 LiveCD i686 beta5 with Russian selected in bootloader and get a lot of messages from rckbd during boot like this Loading console font Cyr_a8x16.psfu -u trivial G0:loadable..done ........ trivial: trailing junk (0xFD) ignored trivial: trailing junk (0xFE) ignored trivial: trailing junk (0xFF) ignored setfont: not loading empty unimap (if you insist: use option -f to override) ........ Loading keymap i386/qwerty/ruwin_alt-UTF-8.map.gz..done Loading compose table winkeys shiftctrl latin1.add..done Start Unicode mode..done As result cyrillic font not loaded, and localized messages from conslole utils are unreadable.
