Description Freek de Kruijf 2008-11-14 11:24:49 UTC
During installation YaST comes with a suggested partition setup.
In my case I have labeled all my partitions before starting the installation.
I have two partition with an OS. One with the current OS and one with the old one now to be replaced by the new one.
YaST suggests to use the current one for the new OS and the old one for /home
So I want to change the current one to be mounted on /suse110 and to change the /home in /. So I undo the formatting of the current OS partition and set the mount point as /suse110. After having done that YaST does not display the volume name of that partition anymore. It was and still should be SUSE110.

Yes there was a bug that caused existing filesystem labels to get removed when a
partition was first set to be formatted and afterwards set to not being
formatted. The bug will be fixed in HEAD repository soon. Fix will be available
with 11.3.
